Okami (slight spoilers)

I might sound like a dork here, but I like the game Okami.
This is what the Wii case looks like:
PlayStation2 Case:

Okamiden for the DS (coming March 15th this year (2011)):

Since I don't have a PlayStation2, I have the Wii version. First, lets talk about Okami.

OK... the game is based on Japanese mythology. You play as the Sun God Amaterasu, who is seen as a normal white wolf but actually looks like this:
In the beginning you learn about the tale of Orochi and how he would take a maiden as a sacrifice and Nagi and a white wolf fought and defeated Orochi, well 100 years later the small village of Kamiki is shrouded in darkness and Amaterasu is summoned to fight the darkness by Sakuya, a tree/plant god. On her journey Amaterasu brings Issun, the wandering artist who is bouncy, tiny, and green and hates being called a bug. Well, 100 years later history repeats itself and Orochi is awakened. Amaterasu must get to Orochi in the moon cave before Waka, his keeper or whatever, will get to the moon cave. Amaterasu is joined with Susano (Nagi's descendant) to defeat Orochi and ... well i don't want to give anymore spoilers. But on the way Amaterasu with her celestial brush find brush gods in constellations to gain more brush techniques, 13 in all. Also, Amaterasu and Issun must bloom all guardian saplings that protect Nippon and keep evil away.

And than I heard of Okamiden, which is a game for the DS and I'm pretty sure it's coming out March 15th this year (2011). But if you want to pre-order it click here: http://www.amazon.com/OkamiDen-Nintendo-DS/dp/B003IOGPAO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1297389399&sr=8-1
I really don't know if this game is the same or a sequel, or both. Like different and similar at the same time. But this game makes everyone, even Amaterasu, look young, little, and childish.
Like this is what Amaterasu looks like (shes so cuddly looking):
I'm pretty sure Issun is going to look like this:

But overall i pretty much know nothing about Okamiden.
